Abstract: 

Selecting appropriate managers for each section will increase its efficiency and productivity. It is said that gender should not be considered as a determining factor in managers’ selection, but in some jobs, including Police job, women are necessarily better choices. Female Police officers work jointly with Police men in some positions, but in some specific special operations it is a need to utilize female managers. This study showed that women Police can be appropriate choices for Management and should have characteristics such as patience, modesty and Hijab and religious principles, dignity and self-respect and dignity and so on.

Abstract: 

Effective change Management is subject that has attracted the attention of all managers in different organizations. Today, managers should recognize that producing appropriate and effective changes is gradually becoming a permanent feature in various organizations. We all live in a period of time in which changes are accelerating. Changes in the environment can lead to the creation and blooming of creativity. One can not bring about any major success unless he is constantly cognizant of changes. Managing new changes with a high level of productivity is the most outstanding characteristic of a successful manager. This issue is very significant in Police organizations, because Police forces are in permanent state of interaction with citizen’s andsocial institute. In this paper the author has tried to discuss the need to changes in the process of managing different organizations.

Why is it that the organizations’ managers and staff, especially those of Police organizations are reluctant to modifications? The present paper has benefitted from different Sources such as books, scientific articles, journals... to examine different points of views regarding modification, factors affecting modification, the need for organizations’ modification, resistance to modification and the methods for dealing with the resistance in organizations, especially in Police organizations.

Abstract: 

The principal objective of this study was to identify the experiences of, and issues relevant to, women in senior Police Management with a view to identifying barriers and opportunities for women who reach senior Management positions (i.e. , at the level of Inspector or above, and equivalent non-sworn levels). Male and female participants, both sworn and non-sworn, from all Australian Police jurisdictions were mailed a questionnaire which included a wide range of questions regarding personal characteristics and experiences within the Police organization. These included issues such as career barriers, self esteem, organizational commitment, experience with mentors, and personal and professional development opportunities. A total of 127 questionnaires were returned. The findings suggest that women experience discrimination and not being a part of ‘the men’s club’ are barriers to their career. In addition, the conflict between work and family due to inflexible working hours was more of an issue for women. On the other hand, there were many similarities between male and female managers which may be due to the fact that women in this study had already successfully negotiated through a strongly masculine organization and had adapted to the culture. Recommendations are provided to assist in the Management of diversity in Police organization.

Abstract: 

سازمان بین المللی استاندارد از زمان تاسیس خود در سال 1942، استانداردهای بین المللی متعددی را با همکار ی متخصصان و کارشناسان برجسته جهان و همچنین کارشناسان موسسه های استاندارد کشورهای عضو این سازمان، تدوین و منتشر نموده است. هر کدام از استانداردهای انتشار یافته حیطه خاصی از عملیات و فعالیتها را پوشش داده و بر روی آن متمرکز می شود. مانند استانداردهای سیستم کیفیت، ایمنی و بهداشت حرفه ای و مدیریت محیط زیست. با وجود تشابه فراوان بین این سیستم ها، ادغام نیازمندیهای این سه سیستم بدون پیچیدگی به نظر می رسد؛ ولی این امر در عمل به سادگی میسر نیست. چرا که بایستی ابتدا برای هر سازمان فایده ها، مشکلات و مسایل حاشیه ای جهت ادغام در نظر گرفته شود. علاوه بر این، در نظر داشتن وجوه اشتراک و تفاو تها بین سیستم های مورد نظر نیز ضروری است. با این حال اگر نیازمندیهای سیستم مدیریتی مورد نظر به درستی در سازمان طرح ریزی و اجرا شده باشد و کارکنان سازمان نیز آگاهی و تعهد لازم را در ارتباط با نیازمندیهای آن داشته باشند، ادغام سیستم های مدیریتی به راحتی و بدون ایجاد اختلال در روند جاری فعالیتهای سازمان امکان پذیر خواهد بود. در این مقاله پس از بحث و توضیح پیرامون استانداردهای کیفیت، مدیریت محیط زیست و ایمنی و بهداشت حرفه ای، روشهای ادغام این سه سیستم و فواید ناشی از این ادغام عنوان خواهد شد.

Abstract: 

The environment of Police research units are based on knowledge and time factor plays a very important role. The main mission of Police in world is to protect individual’s life and property, law enforcement and crime prevention. In many countries of the world at local and national levels, the data of Police reports changes very quickly from papers reports and integrates them into reports Management automation systems which makes the data increasingly accessible. There is no explicit and clear method in Police performance assessment. The success of Police research depends to the extent to which each main activity is directed and administered successfully in Police research. In this article the relation of knowledge Management systems, Police research and the importance of knowledge in Police work have been studied. This article will study how knowledge Management systems interact with Police research performance. This article will also help knowledge Management systems strategic planning in law enforcement considerably by determining the growth stage in knowledge Management systems and by providing examples of its application in Police research.

Abstract: 

Context and objective: Whereas the knowledge is an important resource in the knowledge-oriented organization. Organizations that can by means of knowledge Management convert it to the core competencies and apply it in its strategic plantings, will be pioneer in the knowledge age. This study with the objective of presenting a model for knowledge Management in Police Organization is seeking to identify the Police knowledge Management processes considering the nature of jobs in the Police Organization and remove the gap between available organizational knowledge and the appropriate knowledge of the organization by applying the appropriate style of its Management and signifying thereto.Procedure: the research method of this study is hybrid heuristic (qualitative-quantitative). The population of this study is consisted of all staff personnel of Police Organization. A sample including 400 persons of personnel was selected according to Cochrane formula and purposefully according to the results of interview with the associated groups with respect to the separation of organizational jobs of Police Organization, and based on Charles Pro model, 100 persons were selected out of each one of job categories. The data was collected by the questionnaire the validity and reliability of which was accepted. After collecting the data, the analysis was provided by means of factorial analysis tests.Findings & conclusion: The results of data analysis indicate that a direct and significant relationship exists between organizational technology, knowledge production processes and knowledge Management style, and the presented model has good fitness.

Abstract: 

Background and Aim: Due to the obvious consequences of natural crises such as earthquakes in disrupting public order and security, law enforcement is always known as one of the main pillars of managing such crises. The main purpose of this study is to identify the methods of disciplinary Management in earthquake crisis in the framework of pre-crisis, post-crisis and post-crisis stages. Method: This research is of classical Delphi type in terms of practical purpose and in terms of nature and is among the exploratory and survey researches. Using targeted sampling and snowballs, the participation of 25 law enforcement commanders who had a history of responsibility in managing the country's earthquake crises in recent decades in the Delphi group was used. The final data obtained from the Delphi questionnaire were analyzed using descriptive statistical tests and Kendall's inferential inference test. Results: The findings of the qualitative stage revealed 111 propositions in the field of earthquake Management, which were divided into 15 different dimensions based on their content, including 5 pre-crisis stages, 6 intra-crisis stages and 4 post-crisis dimensions. During the two stages of the Delphi survey, an acceptable consensus of more than 70% was achieved in all dimensions. Conclusion: Based on the results of the research, the pre-crisis Police Management model in 5 dimensions, including command measures, staff training and empowerment, logistical and defense measures, bedrock of internal and external interaction; During the crisis in 6 dimensions, including crisis command, preparedness and dispatch of Police forces and equipment, urban and suburban traffic Management, crime control and disorder, earthquake-affected staff, protection-security measures and post-crisis in 4 dimensions, Includes the normalization of regulatory conditions in the earthquake-stricken area, control and monitoring measures, repair and reconstruction, and strategic analysis.

Abstract: 

Examining the needs of integrated Police Management of specialized Police in crime preventionAbstractBackground and objective: With the development of hardware and software platforms; The level of complexity of crimes has also increased significantly. The issue to consider is the scope of the duties of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Police Command [Faraja] and the number of specialized Police officers who are mainly active in combating and preventing crimes. Therefore, in this research, under the title of examining the needs of integrated Police Management in crime prevention, it has been addressed.Methodology: This research is a qualitative research of the type of directed content analysis, which is practical in terms of its purpose. There are 20 participants in this research; At first, 18 senior managers of the specialized Police and the deputy of Faraja operations were selected from the central area by purposeful sampling method until theoretical saturation. Then, for more theoretical knowledge, 2 judicial experts from outside the Faraja group were also involved. The method of data collection is field and the tool is semi-structured interview. The data has been verified in a formal and reproducible manner in terms of validity and reliability, and MaxQuda software has been used for data analysis.Findings: By analyzing the data obtained from semi-structured interviews, a total of 136 cases of integrated disciplinary Management requirements of specialized Police officers under 24 main axes in the direction of crime prevention were identified, which include strategic vision, comprehensive information elites, central information, knowledge and information network, reform Structure and improvement of processes, optimal service delivery, grassroots prevention, dialogue creation, hyperactive interaction, unity of command and direction of law enforcement operations, integrated planning/organization/coordination of law enforcement operations, integrated planning of law enforcement operations, integrated technological prevention, smartening of processes are among its key identifiers.Results: The integrated Police Management of specialized Police in crime prevention requires the maximum coordination of specialized Police in various steps of planning, organizing, coordinating, implementing and implementing crime prevention processes; Paying attention to the identifiers and requirements identified in this research can be a guide and help to the commanders, managers and chiefs of the specialized Police in the policy-making scene and the field of implementing the adopted policies and measures.Keywords: Police Management, integration, crime prevention, specialized Police, Police command of the Islamic Republic of Iran.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------Examining the needs of integrated Police Management of specialized Police in crime preventionExamining the needs of integrated Police Management of specialized Police in crime preventionExamining the needs of integrated Police Management of specialized Police in crime preventionExamining the needs of integrated Police Management of specialized Police in crime preventionThe integrated Police Management of specialized Police in crime prevention
